The Future of Briny Breezes Volunteering

To preserve one of the many amenities of Briny Breezes, we had the honor to paint and seal the Briny Breezes Beach Hut made by Ira Freidman.

My sister and I have been coming to this hut since it was built almost ten years ago! So when Ira asked us to help him seal and paint the Briny Breezes Beach Hut we were more than willing to lend a hand. We learned a couple of things too! Did you know that despite the wood being exposed to salt and sand it’s actually the sun that damages the wood! Which is why we are doing what we are doing.

It has a perfect view of the ocean and it’s the perfect place to watch the sunset. We live right by this Briny Breezes Beach hut. It’s really convenient for surfers the check the waves!
